Henry J. Mansfield, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Monday, July 6, 2020 at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He was 65 years of age.
Henry was born in Boston on August 1, 1954, a son of the late Peter F. Mansfield and Frances A. (Evers) Mansfield. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1972. He worked at the Domino Sugar Company, Genetics Institute, and most recently as a Level 2 Senior Technician at Biogen for 15 years. Henry enjoyed playing Keno, playing cards, and was the ultimate hockey fan.
Henry is the beloved husband of 45 years to Joyce A. (Neuwinger) Mansfield. He is the devoted father of Mark Mansfield and his companion Krista Conner and Lauren Mansfield and her companion Rob Mallett. He is the loving Papa of Connor, Danika, Robbie and Henry. He is the beloved brother of Donna Marino and her husband Mike, Janet Lakeman and her husband Dan, James Mansfield and his wife Virginia, Kellie Houlihan and her husband Joseph and the late Peter F. Mansfield Jr., Paul Mansfield and Thomas Mansfield. He is the dear and devoted friend of Ann Myers. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.
Henry's Funeral Services and burial will be private.
