Judy K. (Thurston) Boughner, 72, of Mount Airy, NC, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital, New Bedford, MA. She was the wife of the late Allan S. Boughner, they shared 27 years of marriage.
Mrs. Boughner was born in Homer, MI, daughter of the late Louis N. and Thelma L. (Worden) Thurston. She was raised in Michigan and had spent the last 24 years in North Carolina. She had worked as assistant manager for Kerr Drugs, NC and prior to her retirement, worked for Eckerd Drugs, NC. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary, NC.
Survivors include her 2 daughters: Kim M. Brown of New Bedford and Teresa M. Donovan of Saugus, MA; her brother: Larry L. Thurston of MI; 2 Aunts: Wodena Hill of IN and Berneta Crandall of MI; 4 grandchildren: Taylor Wilbur, Corey Chapman, Lacey Byron and Ryan Herchen; along with several nieces and nephews.
