New Bedford - James W. Scrima, age 78, of Acushnet, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital.
James was born in Needham. He resided in Norwood and also in Buzzards Bay. He had been a member of the North Walpole Fishing Game Club and the Buzzards Bay Eagles. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, walking on the beach and being with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela of 55 years of marriage; his children, his sons, Kevin of Acushnet and Peter of Monponset; his daughter, Jennifer and her husband Jose Rivas. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, Ryan Scrima of New Bedford, Amber Bischoff of New Bedford, Charles Bischoff of New Bedford and Holli Bischoff of New Bedford; as well as Casey Scrima of Brewster, Patrick Scrima of Falmouth and 5 great-grandchildren.
