Mary Ann Fulghum Wallace, 85, of Tifton passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020, at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Brantley Seymour and the Rev. Rocky Carrington officiating. Mrs. Wallace will be laid to rest at Lawrence Cemetery.
Cal Carpenter, Stan Carpenter, Fred Carpenter, Jason Connell, Josh Curry and Josh Harper will serve as pallbearers.
Born July 10, 1934 in Higgston, Mrs. Wallace was the daughter of the late Joseph Fulghum and Fannie Faircloth Fulghum. She was also preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Arthur Wallace; two sons, Dennis Lee Wallace and Robert Earl Wallace; and one daughter, Janice Ann Prince. She was a homemaker and a member of Vanceville Congregational Christian Church. She had lived in Tifton for 65 years.
Mrs. Wallace is survived by one son-in-law, Ricky Prince of Metter; one sister-in-law, Elizabeth Purvis of Tifton; one brother-in-law, Ray Wallace of Ocilla; three granddaughters and their husbands, Julie and Josh Curry, Becky and Josh Harper and Jennifer and Mike Battle; and four great-grandchildren, Carlie Curry, Collin Curry, Courtney Harper and Ariel Battle.
