Joe “Porkchop” Reliford, 44, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, June 29, 2020.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Friday, July 3, 2020, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Clyde Purvis officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Thursday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Joe was born July 8, 1975, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Leroy & Ernestine Courdle Reliford of Willacoochee. He worked for Astro Exterminating and had formerly worked for Haulmark, Pace, and Southwire. He formerly lived in Jacksonville, Florida as well as Willacoochee and Ocilla. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, listening to heavy metal music, and playing video games. He loved riding his motorcycle.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tonya Reliford of Fitzgerald; children: Destiny Leanne Reliford of Mystic, Dustin Evan Reliford of Tifton, Devin Ashlynn Reliford of Ocilla; and two brothers: Leroy Reliford, Jr. & Carla of Gray and Ernie Lee Reliford of Willacoochee.
