Cathy Elaine Moats, 55, of Tifton passed away Monday, June 29, 2020, at her residence. A private funeral service and burial will be held for Ms. Moats at a later date.
Born June 12, 1965 in Honolulu, Hawaii, Ms. Moats was the daughter of the late Laurence Edward Moats, Sr. and Peggy Levern Langdale Moats. Before becoming disabled, she was a caregiver. She loved telling and listening to jokes; she loved cooking; and always put other people first. In the last couple of years, she started cooking more by trying different recipes she found on the Internet.
Ms. Moats is survived by two brothers, Laurence Edward Moats, Jr. and Bruce Anthony Stevens, both of New York.
