STANDISH- Susan Claire (Brown) Legere, age 74, went home to her Lord Jesus on June 30, 2020.
She was born in Portland, Maine on April 24, 1946 to the late Blanchard and Philomena (Curato) Brown.
She graduated from Portland High School in 1964 and married Ron Legere in 1970. They moved to Millinocket where they resided for 30 years. They enjoyed the small-town life, raising their two daughters, being involved with church, and forming many friendships in that community.
They then returned to Buxton and became members of the Living Waters Christian Church. Her strong faith and love of her Lord Jesus Christ was exceptional. She was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sue’s talents and creativity showed in everything she did- from special occasions to simply stopping by for a cup of coffee. She was an experienced artist who spent a lot of time making custom cards and special unique gifts.
She is predeceased by her siblings- Joyce Berry and Joseph Brown.
Susan is survived by her sister- Beverly Keith of Gorham; daughters- Kristen Braley and her husband Bill and Nichole Techanchuk and her husband Bill; grandchildren Josh and Hannah Braley, and Savannah, Sophia, and Sydney – all of whom she adored; and her church family.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday July 3 at 10 am at the Living Waters Christian Church, 197 Parker Farm Road, Buxton.
