Charlton/ Framingham
Raymond J. Calabrese, 93, passed away June 27, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
His wife, Dorothy (Atwell) Calabrese died in 2012.
Raymond was born in Framingham, September 29, 1926 son of the late Erminio and Lena (Tomasino) Calabrese and lived in the Framingham area for most of his life, before moving to Charlton. Raymond was a WWII Navy veteran. He was a carpenter for many years and did auto repair in Saxonville, MA.
He leaves behind a daughter, Nancy Fournier and her husband Alfred of Charlton, 3 grandchildren; Brian and his wife Lindsay, Aimee, and Keith, 4 great grandchildren; Ashton, Olivia and twins Benjamin and Alexis with whom he was blessed to live with for his final years of life.
Raymond enjoyed fishing and snowmobiling, hunting and the outdoors well into his late 80’s. He was a member of the Massachusetts Beach Buggy Association and the Hardy Country Snowmobile Club.
There are no calling hours.
A Celebration of Raymond’s Life will be at a later date.
