STANDISH- Frank Irving Wargo Jr., 71, of Standish Maine passed away Sunday June 28,2020 at Eastern Maine Medical in Bangor.
Frank was born to Frank and Alice Wargo in Long Beach California before moving to New Hampshire where he graduated from high school, then serving the army in the Vietnam War from1969 to 1970.
Frank is survived by his wife Ann Wargo, his daughter Michele DiMastrantonio of Shapleigh Maine, son Frank I. Wargo III of Louisville Kentucky, Step-son Eric Rollins of Buxton Maine, Step-Daughter Sandra Snow of Hollis Maine, Step-Daughter Lisa Rollins of Cornish Maine, Sister Vicki Robichaud Epsom New Hampshire, along with 5 nieces and nephews, 11 Grand Children and 1 Great Grandchild.
Frank worked for many years for The Maine Department of Transportation @ the Scarborough garage. When frank retired from the MDOT he went to work for the Town of Standish and then retired again. He was an avid outdoors men where he loved to hunt, fish, and get his sister covered in mud on his 4 wheeler. Frank also loved to go camping with his daughter and husband Nick every year for fathers day. Frank was also a member of the Standish Gorham ATV club as well as many bowling leagues.
Frank was preceded by his parents Frank and Alice Wargo, and his Brother Gray Wargo.
There will be a Celebration of life for him at The Deeper Well Church located at 190 Northeast Rd, Standish, at 3:30 pm.
