Valerie (Baj, Seybold, DiLuzio) Zywar, age 95, passed away on June 27, 2020 at Linda Manor Extended Care Facility in Leeds, Mass. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Apolonia (Prajzner) Baj. During her life, Valerie worked at many jobs to provide for her and her family. She worked at Pratt and Whitney, Westinghouse, Alamac Knitting Mills, Sickles Manufacturing, Smith & Wesson, Wico Electric and Mass Plastics. She also delivered for Meals on Wheels after she retired to keep busy. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, listening to to Polish music, playing cards, riding her bike and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a proud member of the VFW Post 625 in Chicopee as well as an active member of the Aldenvillle Senior Citizens Center. She is predeceased by her husbands John G Seybold Sr in 1952, Umberto DiLuzio in 1990 and Albert Zywar in 2005. She is survived by her two sons; John Seybold Jr. of Belchertown and Raymond DiLuzio of Springfield; 2 daughters, Rosemarie Gates and her husband Ralph of Surfside Beach, SC. and Suzanne DeFranco and her husband Anthony of Springfield; 10 grandchildren,12 great grandchildren, a nephew and 2 nieces . She is predeceased by 3 brothers, 4 sisters and a special granddaughter, Visiting hours will be held on the morning of her funeral, Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee followed by a Prayer Service at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in New West Cemetery, RT. 190, Somers, CT. 06071
