Patrick Mahoney of Boston, MA went to heaven on June 20 after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. He was 6 years old. Beloved son of Steve Mahoney and Kathleen Kavaney, he is survived by his older brother Bob and adoring grandparents Judi Kavaney of Albany, NY, and Patrick and Carol Kavaney of St. Cloud, MN. In addition, he leaves behind several loving aunts and uncles.
Patrick’s bravery, spirit, and humor never wavered during his treatment. He loved playing with his four-legged sisters, cruising around in his police vehicles, and spending time with his adored cousins Molly Kate, Jack, Sawyer, and Naomi.
There will be a Celebration of Life mass on Saturday, June 27th at 11 AM at the Holy Name Parish Church, 1689 Centre St. in West Roxbury, MA. There are attendance restrictions due to the pandemic. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing as much as possible if attending.
