Louise Roderigues, 93, passed into eternity May 23, 2020 at the Medway Country Manor. She was the wife of the late Francis Roderigues.
“Margie” to her friends, graduated from Weymouth High School in 1944. She went on to earn her LPN Nursing Degree, working at Peter Bent Brigham and other hospitals and nursing care facilities.
In her early eighties, while living in Plainville, she frequently drove 50 miles round-trip to volunteer at a nursing home to, as she put it, “help the old people.”
Friends remember her as a kind, caring woman, generous with her time and laughter. Also, someone you wouldn’t want to go against in Scrabble!
Margie dearly loved her family and is survived by her two children, Donna and Frederick Sibley of Medway, and Frank and JoAnn Roderigues of North Attleboro. Grammy /GG leaves four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
