Perry Alan Price, 59, of Tifton passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020, at his residence. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. John Hughes officiating. Mr. Price will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Rick Hodnett, Jimmy Carson, Ed Branch, Bill Murray, Dylan Walls, Brian Bloodworth, Roy McDaniel and Sam Wright will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Cooksey, Bert Barry, Davy Davis and Robert Owens.
Born July 17, 1960, in Tifton, Perry was the son of the late Elmer Mason Price and Lillian Roberts Price. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Wilson Price; and one sister, Lillian Alison Price. He attended Tift County High School and ABAC and he was employed at Colony Cleaners in Tifton. He was a member of Tifton’s First Baptist Church and he was a member of the Tifton Bicycle Club.
Perry is survived by one daughter, Perrin Elizabeth Price of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his lifelong partner and mother of his only child, Mary Price Goodemote of Tifton; one brother and sister-in-law, William Mason and Mary Frances Price of Tifton; and two nephews, Brian Price and Terry Price.
