Mr. Wayne B. Saunders, 74, of Methuen passed away at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford, MA. The son of the late William and Jota Saunders he was born in Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Saunders served honorably in the United States Army achieving the rank of Specialist 5. After his discharge from the Army, Mr Saunders worked as an accountant business consultant. He held a bachelors degree in business, enjoyed cigars, baseball, playing with his dog Sammy, and spending time at the ocean. Mr. Saunders is pre-deceased by his son Gregory Saunders. He is survived by his wife Sharon (Clarke) Saunders of Methuen, MA, two daughters; Jennifer and her husband Craig Hollinrake of Goffstown, NH, Michelle Saunders of Michigan, three sons; Matthew Saunders and his wife Linda Muse of Chelmsford, MA, Daniel Saunders of Methuen, MA, Ryan Trighani of Tyngsborough, MA, two grandchildren; Brayden and Luke Hollinrake of Goffstown, NH, two sisters Ingrid Saunders and Rita Saunders, his nephews Raymond Clarke and Bradford Clarke.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, June 12, 2020 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd. Dracut, MA.
