Obituary

Ryan John Boudreau of Weymouth, 27 years of age, passed away on May 29, 2020. Ryan grew up in Quincy. He attended Saint Joseph Catholic School and participated in various local sports leagues where his red head, fierce competitive nature, and ever mischievous smile made him impossible to miss. He later moved to Newton where he attended Underwood Grammar School and Bigelow Middle School before progressing to and graduating from Newton North High School.

During his high school career Ryan excelled athletically, especially on the baseball diamond from atop the mound as well as from within the batter’s box. Ryan was a dedicated Catholic, an avid Boston sports fan, a firm believer in family, and an astute student of family history. He dearly touched all of the souls who benefited from spending time in his company.

Ryan is predeceased by his grandmother Denise Boudreau and is survived by his loving mother Kathryn, his ever present grandfather Walter, his uncles Gil, Marc, Greg, and Daniel, ten cousins and extended family living locally as well as in Florida, Ohio, and Arizona.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you spend quality time with your family, take a walk along a beach or wooden path with your loved ones, and make a concerted effort to celebrate and fortify enduring friendships and family relationships lifelong and beyond. Ryan would have found that a much more worthy endeavor. Besides, he was far too Boston Strong for floral arrangements, for sentimental petals on display. His memory will be cherished, his mother loved. Rest In Peace Ryan John Boudreau.

Ryan’s service and interment will be held privately.

The Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home is honored to assist the Boudreau Family.
