Florence I. (Baxter) Correia, 86, died at the Brockton Hospital on Sunday, February 19 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late William F. Storme and Francis J. Correia. Born and educated in Stoughton, Mrs. Correia lived in Brockton for the past 22 years after living in Stoughton for 40 years. She was a homemaker at home with her family. In her free time she loved playing Bingo and embroidering.
Mrs. Correia is survived by her daughters, Marie T. (Storme) Callahan of KS, Joan C. (Storme) Brummet of MI, Carolyn A. (Storme) Bater of ME, Priscilla J. (Storme) Jackson of NY, Lynne A. (Storme) Hollis and Lorraine (Storme) Shea both of Brockton. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, February 23 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8 PM. Interment will be private. Donations in Florence‘s name may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, 02368.
