Obituary

Our loving sister Cheryl Yvonne Lee was called home to be with her Savior on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the age of 61. She was born on June 7, 1958 in Basseterre, St. Kitts, West Indies to Inspector John and Vertilly Lee.
After returning to Montserrat, West Indies, Cheryl attended the Piper Infants School in Plymouth & amp; Harris Infant School, and Cavalla Hill School. Later she attended Brades Primary School and finished her primary education at Kinsale
Primary School. Inspector Lee retired from the Royal Police Force and in 1978, the family migrated to Boston, Massachusetts.
In 1984, Cheryl earned a certificate in Business from Fisher Junior College, Boston, MA.
She worked for seven years as a Customer Service Research Analyst at Blue Cross & and Blue Shield of MA. Unfortunately, due to medical infirmities she retired from the company.
During her disability, she joined the “Hope for the Hopeless Ministry”, a model faith-based ministry, that witnessed to the residents of Nursing Homes throughout the Boston area.
She also served as a Host Parent to several International College Students for a number of years. Some of the students remained in contact with her after returning
to their homes. They remember her good treatment; and some referred to her as “Mom”!
Cheryl had a passion for baking. Her specialties were cakes, coconut tarts and sweet bread.
She used her Disability Infirmities to advocate to medical students at Tufts University School of Medicine.
Cheryl had a passion for sports. In Montserrat, she enjoyed watching Net Ball and Cricket. While residing in Boston, she developed a love for Basketball and Football
and embraced her beloved Boston Celtics and the New England Patriots. She also followed the Boston Red Sox.
Travelling was another passion of our dear sister. Some of her trips included Montreal, Canada; England, UK, Caribbean Cruises and various travels throughout the United States.
Cheryl was a collector of Dolls and maintained a collection of Dolls from around the world. She was also known for her friendliness, kindness, her Godly Spirit, her
infectious smile and loved to be photographed. Our sister was a wonderful person,

loved by many, and loved life in spite of her infirmities.
Cheryl is survived by her Sisters and Brothers, Jean Lee, Desreen Daly-Molyneaux,
Jacqueline Sol, Patrick Lee and Renford Lee, all of Boston, MA, Morvin Lee of
Orlando, FL, Charlesworth Lee of Hopedale, MA, Michael Carty of Anguilla, WI,
Mervyn Blackman of England, UK. With numerous Cousins, Nieces, Nephews,
Grandnieces and Grandnephews.

Private funeral services will be limited to immediate family due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic at the Joseph Russo Funeral Home on Friday June 5 followed by a private burial in Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park.
