Obituary

Jenna Rose Daignault Igbuku, 34, of Woonsocket, RI died Saturday May 23, 2020.

Jenna is survived by; her parents; Randy Daignault and Lisa Rizzo; her husband, Emmanuel Igbuku; her children; Madelyn Rose and LilyJoy Daignault; her grandmother; Mary (Horan) Rizzo; her brothers; Ryan Chase, Matthew and Adam Daignault; her sisters; Mika and Mary Gipson, Emma Daignault and Katelyn Marie Green. Jenna is predeceased by her grandparents; Russell Rizzo and Edward and Doris (Brayboy) Daignault.

Jenna also leaves her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends along with her much loved animals; her dogs, Tootsie and Anchor; a cat named Binx; and 2 birds.

Jenna grew up in Manville and lived her adult life in Woonsocket, RI. She attended Davies Career and Technical High School and graduated from Lincoln High School. Jenna then earned her Certified Nursing Certificate. She was employed as a CNA at several area nursing homes including the Friendly Home, Hebert Nursing Home, The Village at Waterman Lake and St. Antione Residence. Jenna was passionate about her job and brought joy to many.

Jenna has a special place in her heart for animals. A true “dog whisperer”, her natural ability extended to all creatures great and small. She held a deep love for the natural world that was a source of solace throughout her life.

Jenna was a free spirit and definitely lived out loud. Anyone who came in contact with her knew it immediately. She engaged with great enthusiasm and was fun-loving. Growing-up, she loved animals, art, snackies (inside joke), cheetah print and roses.

Jenna will be remembered for her outgoing and friendly personality, the love she shared with her family and friends and the two shining lights of her life, daughters Madelyn Rose and LilyJoy Daignault.
Visiting hours for Jenna will be on Sunday May 31st. Relatives and friends may pay their respects anytime between the hours of 12noon and 8pm at the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Face masks and social distancing are required. There will only be 10 people at a time allowed in the funeral home. Upon arrival at the funeral home please remain in your car until a staff member escorts you into the funeral home.
