Vivian Harris Pearson, 78, of Enigma passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020, at her residence. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Pearson at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2020, at Turner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Berrien County, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Shaun Suggs and the Rev. Aaron Clanton will officiate.
Shane Owens, Benji Owens, Daniel Owens, Shane Willis, Joshua Giddens and Jobe Mullins will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Born August 13, 1941 in Edison, Mrs. Pearson was the daughter of the late Tollie Franklin Harris and Iva Katherine Hatcher Harris. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Teresa Pearson Suggs; three sisters; and three brothers. Before retiring, she was employed at J. P. Stevens and at Walmart. She was a member of Barnes Chapel in Berrien County.
Mrs. Pearson is survived by her husband, Kenneth Pearson of Enigma; one son and daughter-in-law, LaDon “Donnie” and Laurel Pearson of Enigma; three daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Jim Fristad of Villa Rica and Betty and Tim Crews and Jeannine and Stacy Harnage, all of Nashville; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
