Kathleen "Billie" (Luther) Williams, 100, formerly of Anderson, died May 26, 2020 at Shady Nook Care Center after an extended illness.
She was born, December 16, 1919, in Wilkinson, IN; the daughter of Charles and Cora (Gardner) Nelson. She graduated in 1937 from Wilkinson High School.
She was primarily a homemaker. She had previously worked at Delco Remy and North Side Junior High in Anderson. She was actively involved in Park Place Church of God and South Meridian Church of God and. She sang and assisted with dinners. She was a member of Pathways Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her son, Kevin (Teri) Luther of Cincinnati; step-son, Mike Williams of Anderson; sister-in-law, Alberta Nelson of Knightstown; three grandchildren, Kirsten (David) Brown, Jesi (Mike) Taubert and Nick Bewley; four great-grandchildren, Jacob Brown, Evelyn Brown, Aidan Taubert and Marley Taubert; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, two spouses, Howard W. Luther in 1997 and Eldon Williams in 2004; four siblings, Florence Poer, Betty Carpenter, Charles Nelson, Jr., John Nelson, daughter, Brenda Sue Luther and step-son, Pat Williams.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 29, at 12:00 noon at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Phil Bruzzese and Dr. David Coolidge officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday from 11 a.m. to noon.
Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association.
