Obituary



BUXTON- Robert Pettingill, 63 passed away unexpectedly
in his sleep at his home in Buxton,ME. He was born
On July 6, 1956 in Portland, Maine. He grew up in
South Portland Maine. At the time of death he lived
in Buxton, Maine. He is predeceased by his parents
Lawrence Pettingill and Elinor Pettingill. He went to
South Portland Schools.
He worked at Goodman’s for about 20 years.
His hobbies was to build car models. He loved watching
car shows and talking about them with his kids.
His favorite cars were convertibles, mustang, Z28 SS
And Camaro. He was also in The army for a short time.
He loved to watch wrestling every week. He looked forward to
The weekends to watch paper-views events. His best friend
Paul Cram would come over to watch them with him and
Dad looked forward to it. He also loved to take his truck
for rides, And just blast his music and jam out to his
favorite oldies station.
He loved his three girls and they was all he talked about.
Also loved his 4 grandchildren.
Robert is survived by, Sabrina Pettingill of Windham, Maine.
Amanda Pettingill and her fiancé Adam Harris of Buxton Maine.
Danielle Pettingill and her fiancé Curtis Brown of Baileyville Maine.
His grandchildren Haileigh Brown, Brendan Townsend,
Julian Harris And Curtis Brown JR.
There will be a celebration of life to be announced.

US Army Honors will be performed at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be at the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Augusta.
