Sylvia Nobles Staley, 68, of Albany passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020, at her residence. A private graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Staley on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Gerald Mallard will officiate.
Born September 17, 1951 in Tifton, Mrs. Staley was the daughter of the late Daniel J. “D. J.” Nobles, Jr. and Adelaide Heath Nobles. She was a homemaker and a member of Tifton’s First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Staley is survived by her husband, Larry Eugene Staley of Cordele; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Joseph and Sabrina Scarbor of Lenox and Daniel Staley of Albany; three grandchildren and their spouses, Zachary and Katie Scarbor of Dalton, Haley Scarbor Baker and her husband, Austin of Lenox and Kylee Ann Rose Staley of Albany; and two great-grandchildren, Parker Baker and Logan Baker.
