D. Gertrude Coleman, age 98, of Reading formerly of Woburn for over fifty years, passed away February 18th following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred J. Coleman. Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Patrick F. and Delia A. (McCarthy) Grant.
Mrs. Coleman attended Saint Eulalia´s School as a young girl and was a graduate of the Gate of Heaven High School in So. Boston. She was an active parishioner of St. Barbara Church over the years and served as a past president of the St. Barbara Ladies Sodality.
Mrs. Coleman is survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant st. Woburn, Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd., Woburn, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Wednesday morning from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
