Obituary

Anthony L. “Tony” Arcaro, 57 of Franklin, born May 2, 1963 died peacefully the weekend of May 16, 2020 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Teresa I. "Teri" (Galloway) Arcaro.

Tony was loved, respected, and cherished as a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a friend, and the best person anyone could have ever known. He gave unconditionally and as empty as all of our hearts are right now – the volume of friends that have come to support us during this time have reminded us just how great this loss is, not just for his immediate family but for all that knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife Teri, he leaves two sons Mathew L. and his dear friend Amber, Zachary T. and his girlfriend Katie, his mother Louise (Carfagnini) Arcaro, his sister Lisa (Arcaro) Kerr and her husband Donald along with their children Stephen, Sarah, and Scott. He is also survived by his nephews and niece Cory, Cote and Moriah, all children of sister-in-law Tracey (Galloway) and her husband Joseph Hosford of Franklin, a sister-in-law Tami (Galloway) Harris and a tremendous number of extended family and dear friends. He was the son of late Louis G. Arcaro.

A life-time resident of Franklin, he was a graduate of Franklin High School, a respected business owner and builder of many homes in the surrounding area. Tony was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman who found peace in the wilderness with his family and friends. His camp in New York became a sacred gathering place for Tony and those who shared his love for the outdoors.

Tony never took for granted those that stood beside him, whether near or far. He further proved, his honor and heroism by donating himself to others that he never had the opportunity to meet.

Anthony's service and interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Franklin will be held privately.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his honor to a charity of your choice.
