ACTON- Vashti Noland. 80 yrs old. Passed away at Gosnell House in Scarborough ME. On Thursday May,14, 2020. Born in Edgecomb, Maine. Predeceased by her loving husband of just shy of 54 years of marriage. Survived by her 6 children whom she loved so very much and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Vashti was a very loving, humble and kind woman with a mischievous sense of humor and a twinkle in her eye. She didn’t believe in the word “bored” because if you thought and looked hard enough there was always something to do. Vashti had an inner strength that got her through a long illness with heart failure. She surprised Doctors and Nurses alike by outliving by far their predictions for her. She credited that to her unwavering strong faith as a Jehovahs Witness and by applying the counsel to keep a calm heart at all times and by the love and care of those close to her. She also believed that laughter is the best medicine. Vashti also firmly trusted and believed in the promises made in the Bible about the hope of a resurrection and the paradise earth to come. She was very much loved and will be dearly missed by all.
