Zulalian, Bernard (Bernie) L., of Belmont, passed away on May 6, 2020. Bernie was the son of the late Madeline (Aslan) and Tatoul Barsam Zulalian, and is survived by many cousins and friends. A graduate of UMass Amherst, Bernie received his MBA from Babson College and was an Accounting Manager at Raytheon for many years.
Active in local government, Bernie served as a Town Meeting member, a member and Chair of the Recreation Commission, and a member and Chair of the Housing Authority. He also volunteered with Boston Partners in Education, mentoring students in the Blackstone Elementary School and the Josiah Quincy Elementary School.
At Bernie’s request, there are no visiting hours or services. Memorial donations in his name may be made to Saint James Armenian Church, 465 Mount Auburn Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
