Barbara M. (Arico) LaRose, 78, of Somerville passed away on Friday, May 1, at Winchester Hospital. A longtime Somerville resident, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and MaryAlice (McCarren) Arico. Barbara loved to cook for her family. Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Robert C. LaRose, Sr. and the devoted mother of Anthony F. LaRose and Robert C. LaRose, Jr. both of Somerville, Alan J. LaRose and his fiancée Lisa Matheson of Billerica, Joseph C. LaRose and his wife Sheila of Litchfield, NH, Mark LaRose of Somerville, and the late Charles LaRose. She was the loving grandmother of Brandi Gannaway, Jennifer Andrade, Amanda Morin, Rael LaRose, Lanae Caruso, Joseph LaRose Jr., Delaney LaRose, and Harleigh LaRose, and the loving great grandmother of Sean, Eric, Olivia and Aubrey. Barbara was the dear sister of the late Albert, Carl, Ralph and Donald Arico, and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Barbara’s funeral services will be private.
