Gloria Gerrig 89, long time Chelsea resident passed away peacefully on May 5th , 2020. Born in Medford, July 25th , 1930. The daughter of the late William and Rose (Abrams) Gerrig. Proudly retired from Harvard University Economics Dept. after 35 years, and was co-president of Temple Emmanuel in Chelsea for 15+ years. Survived by her beloved sister Barbara Gerrig of Chelsea and sister-in-law Bernice “Bunny” (Hoffman) Gerrig of Lincoln. Cherished sister of the late Leatrice Mazzone and Edward Gerrig. Devoted aunt to Gene and Robert Mazzone, Judy Gudinas, Richard and Beth Gerrig, Georgia LeBlond and the late Risa Gerrig as well as several great nieces and nephews.
