Obituary

Taylor, Kathleen A (O’Brien) “Kathy” of Randolph, Formerly of Dorchester, Originally of South Boston passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on May 3, 2020 after fighting a short battle with cancer at the age of 64. Born and raised in South Boston to the late William E. and Grace E. O’Brien (Harvey) on February 4, 1956. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She is survived by her husband David W. Taylor SR whom she married in 1974, her children son David W Taylor Jr and Wife Brittany of Washington, daughter Brenda L Manion (Taylor) and her Husband James SR of Randolph, and daughter Nichole M Varela (Taylor) and Her husband Javier of Randolph/Honduras, her Grandchildren James Jr, Joshua, Jeremy, Weslie, and Matthew, her eldest sister Denise and her children Michelle and Eric, her eldest brother Edward (Eddie) and his wife Betty and daughter Lauren, her youngest brother Richard (Richie) and his son Branden and her brother in law Ronald (Ronnie) and Son William (Bill). She is also survived by many of her brother and sister in laws, many Nieces and Nephews, many great nieces and great nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her youngest sister Elizabeth (Beth), her nephew Kevin, her brother in laws Harry and Walter and her father and mother in law Lee and Ida Daniels. She had a love for owls, knitting, animals and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Kathy was the type of person with a loving heart and would accept you into her life in a heartbeat. She was loved by many and she will be mourned. It is a sad time to say goodbye to a beautiful person at a very young age. She will be missed and the days to come will never be the same. Cremation will be held at Casper funeral home in South Boston.
