Obituary

NORTH WATERBORO- Patrick (Ronnie) Thibodeau, 76, of North Waterboro left us on May 3, 2020 “To go fishing in heaven with his Dad”. He was a lifelong resident of Caribou, Maine until his health conditions forced him to move to Southern Maine with his best friend, Matilda. He was born on March 17, 1944 in Caribou to the late Patrick and Laura (Plourde) Thibodeau.
He was a 1962 CHS graduate. In his early years he was a Potato Farmer until he began his Truck Driving career working for his Uncle Lionel Plourde and then drove for John T Noble and Daigle Oil Company for 35+ years. He was a member of the National Guards. His favorite hobbies were fishing & hunting with his father and brothers, a tradition he carried on to his children, nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He also was every family member’s biggest sports fan, whether it was baseball, basketball or snowmobile races. He was involved in the Snowmobile Industry for many years, racing riding, fixing and teaching us all about them.
He married Sally Rae Conant on September 25, 1965, they celebrated 50 years of marriage until her passing on their 50th wedding anniversary on September 25, 2015.
He is survived by his 3 children Bethany & Todd Theriault of North Waterboro whom he lived with, Jana Clark of Glenburn and Roby & Stephanie Thibodeau of Biddeford. “Big Grampy” also leaves behind his grandchildren Morgan & Ben Theriault and Taylor & Hayden Clark. His sister Linda, and brothers Reggie & Sharan, John & Dawn, Terry & Barb, Jimmie & Lori, Danny & Teresa, and Gerald & Loraine; a special nephew Cody Thibodeau, many nieces, nephews, a brother in law, 2 sister in laws as well as an overwhelming number of friends and extended family.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, a brother Pit Thibodeau & wife Carol; Sister in Law, Mary Anne Thibodeau and his Mother & Father in Law, Robert & Marie Conant.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
