Marjorie A (Moore)Farrell, Most recently from Andover, previously from Medford and Somerville, passed away peacefully at the Royal Meadow View Nursing Facility in North Reading, on Thursday, April 30th. She was 83.
Margie was born in St John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador Province, Canada. Her Family relocated to Somerville, when she was 6 years old. She graduated from St Clements High School 1956. After marrying “Ray” in 1960, they began raising their family in Medford. Margie led her family’s active involvement within the St Joseph’s Medford Church community. Along with Margie’s love for her extended family, her Catholic faith was deeply important throughout her life. She also enjoyed traveling, reading, a good laugh with friends and her “Newfie” heritage.
“Margie” was preceded in death by her loving Husband of almost 49 years, Raymond J. Farrell. She was the daughter of the late Charles Moore and Harriet (Bugden) Moore, along with her 10 Brothers and Sisters. Marjorie was a loving mother to Patricia A. Farrell and Dennis J. Farrell both of Wakefield, John J. Farrell and his wife Michele of Stoneham, Catherine M. Mitchell and husband William of North Reading and Daniel Farrell and his wife Sue of Boston. Margie and Ray adored their 6 loving grandchildren Kaylyn, Bryan, Gabriella, William, Meaghan and Francesca. Margie also shared wonderful life memories with her many nieces and nephews.
All funeral services will be private. A celebration of Margie's life will be announced at a later date. If desired, donations can be made in Marjorie’s name to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452
