Obituary

Claire Vivian ( Primeau) Weaver, 91, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Courtland Place (Stillwater) in Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Thomas H. Weaver. Born in Central Falls RI. She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Bertha (Stebenne) Primeau.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas H. Weaver Jr, William E. Weaver, daughters Vivian M. Weaver, Marilyn G. Weaver, Caroline R. Parks, three grandchildren, Simeon Parks, Edward Weaver, and Kim A. Newton; two great grandchildren, Kirsten A. Newton and Ryan T. Newton. She was the mother of the late Michael J. Weaver and Peter J. Weaver, and the grandmother of the late Thomas H. Weaver III. She is survived by her sister Constance Doran.

Those of you who remember our mother should try to remember the good times. When we were young our mother was a caring and fun loving person who loved to dance and sing. A vivid imagination created many stories touched with good humor. That is the mother we will miss.

A memorial mass will be scheduled in the near future.

In lieu of flowers, a kind deed or donation to a local food bank in her memory will be greatly appreciated during these troubled times.
