Patricia was an authentic a person as you will ever meet, went by many names, but to all she brought the same; a feeling of comfort, a smile, plenty of laughter, and lots of love. She was a Matriarch to a large family who loved her profoundly. She loved her family more than herself. She had been through so much in her life, but you wouldn’t know it because of how strong she was and the manner in which she could turn tragedy to comedy with simple sarcasm in a way only she could deliver.. She lived for her family. She loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally, spending her days making sure they were all cared for in any way she could.
She was a beloved sister to so many , a cousin, an aunt, a trusted friend, a mentor, a protector, a helper, a genuine and gifted person who made each person feel just as special as the rest of us who were lucky enough to know her.
Patricia would literally give you the shirt off her back and was happy to do so. She spent her days helping others in any way she could. All she needed was a phone and maybe a van, and she could literally change your life for the better. One phone call and the ‘Nan Van’ was on the way without hesitation. If you knew her, you know how true this is. There are countless stories that so many close to her can share.
Ma, Nan, Pat, Trisha, and Trish. Those names all meant the same to those who knew her…Love and Family. She was larger than life. She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her especially her kids and grandkids. She was our world! Rest easy Trisha/Trish/Pat/Nan/Ma. We love you forever!
