Donna E. Taylor
Donna Elaine was born on November 18, 1953 and peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on April 25, 2020.
Donna was the daughter of the late Francis and Mable O’Connor. Donna was great with numbers and worked many years as a cashier and most recently worked for Simmons College. Donna left us after losing her battle with lung cancer. She leaves behind her soulmate of 27 years Leroy Truley, her two daughters, Donna O’Connor and Alicia Taylor, son Larry O’Connor and will unite with her late daughter Felicia Taylor. Donna also leaves behind her brother, Gilbert O’Connor, two sisters Vanessa O’Connor and Maryanne Monteiro and eleven wonderful grandchildren.
Donna’s nickname was ‘Peaches’. She loved her TV programs, which included game shows, TV court programs, food challenges, murder mysteries and her favorite RuPaul’s Drag Race. She had a sweet tooth and loved all things sugary including cookies, cakes, pies, Funny Bones, and Reese’s cups. She also had a special place for Mason a maltipoo pup that she would make breakfast for when he visited.
Donna was a hardworking caring person that also had a great sense of humor with a talent for making you laugh. She was also a great cook making her house a popular place for Sunday and holiday dinners.
Donna was taken too soon and is greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time for immediate family.
