Obituary

Edmond Polycard of Brockton (99) died April 21st at Saint Joseph Manor of Brockton.

He was born in Jacmel, Haiti, son of the late Rosalie (Turnier) and Merantin Polycard. Edmond retired from the hotel industry. He immigrated to the US in 1984. He was a communicant of Christ the King Parish in Brockton. He was an outstanding father who made a lot of sacrifices for his children. He was a doting grandfather.

He survived by his wife Lita (Duverne) Polycard of Brockton, a son Robert Polycarpe of Haiti, two daughters, Nadia Gay of Brockton and Arielle Paulicar of Randolph, he was also the father of the late Phito Polycarpe, a sister Rita Gena of Texas, seven grandchildren: Bianca and husband Christopher Jordan, Phillip Gay, Renee and Marlon Polycarpe, Micharella Baptiste, Nehemie Neicha Polycarpe, Anne Keicha Coquillot, he was also the grandfather of the late Olivier Baptiste, and many other members of his extended family.

Due to the COVID-19 State, National Mandate and for the Health and Safety of the Community, Services for Edmond Polycard will be held privately at the family's convenience.
