Elizabeth H. “Betty” Wright, 79, formerly of Whitman and Jensen Beach, Florida, died April 18, 2020.
She was the wife of the late John “Jack” Wright for over 53 years. She was the sister of Bernard Corbett of South Boston and William Corbett of Reading, MA. She leaves behind her son John and his wife Kathy Wright of Hanson, her son Steve and his wife Tasha Wright of Halifax, her son Keith and his wife Lynn Wright of Carver, her son Kevin Wright and his partner Carla of Abington, her son Brian and his wife Shannon Wright of Hanson; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Betty as she was known, loved to walk, socialize with friends and spend time with her family. In her retirement years she and Jack spent winters in Florida with friends and summers at their camper in Dennisport, MA.
A strong woman, devout Catholic and matriarch whose love and guidance will be missed.
She will be laid to rest with her late husband in a private ceremony at Fern Hill Cemetery in Hanson on April 23rd.
