Naomi J. Poverman of Auburn, ME formerly of Winthrop, MA died Monday, April 20, 2020 at the Clover Manor in Auburn. Born in Winthrop, she was the daughter of the late Barney and Esther Poverman. She was raised and educated in Winthrop, a graduate of Winthrop High School, and she continued her education graduating from Bentley College. Naomi worked as an accountant, she was Past President of the Emeth Chapter B’nai Brith Women and past Treasurer of the former Temple B’nai Israel in Revere, MA. Naomi is survived by her nephews Michael Levy of San Francisco, CA; Steven Levy of Marlboro, MA; Alan Freehoff of Attleboro, MA; and niece Ellen Freehoff of Rumford, ME. She was the loving great aunt of Brittany, Shawn, Rebecca, Ashley, Tabitha, Christopher, and Luke. She was predeceased by her sisters Ruth Freehoff and Frances Levy and niece Leona Sinclair. Private graveside services due to COVID-19 were held at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, MA.
