BANGOR- John Paul Poore, age 47, passed away at his residence on April 18, 2020 in Bangor.
He was born on March 17, 1973, son of Paul P. Poore and Marjorie (Fournier) Tournigy and graduated from Hampden Academy in 1993.
John will always be remembered for the enjoyment he had with cars, dancing, and music. He was also very involved with activities at the Pine Tree Camp, Special Olympics, Amicus, church in Bangor and attending services at the North Congregational Church in Groveville (Buxton).
Most recently, John was employed by the Circle K / Irving convenience stores.
He is survived by his father- Paul Poore and his husband Richard Rumney of Buxton, and mother- Marjorie Tournigy and her husband Joe of Dixmont.
John’s family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Mert Enterprises in Bangor for their care of John.
A graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetery, Church Hill Road, in Buxton at a later date
