West Springfield ~ Mulhim Hawel Mulhem, 61, of West Springfield, was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. He passed into Eternal Life at his home surrounded by all the memories that he loved and cherished. He was born in Bagdad, Iraq on May 24, 1958, the beloved son of Hawel Mulhem and Maria Mansour. He immigrated to the United States and settled in West Springfield. He was a communicant of Saint Anthony Maronite Catholic Church in Springfield. He leaves his wife, Marleen; and his seven children. A private graveside service will be held at Saint Thomas Cemetery, 420 Kings Highway, West Springfield, MA 01089. His funeral arrangements are entrusted to the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Springfield Chapels, (413-737-1177), 7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to Saint Anthony Maronite Catholic Church, 375 Island Pond Road, Springfield, MA 01118.
