Dorothy( Hayward) Sutherland, 97, of Walpole formerly of Needham died on Saturday February 11, 2006 at the Harrington House in Walpole. Born in Winchester, Mrs. Sutherland was a resident of Needham for many years before moving to New Pond Village in Walpole 12 years ago. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Attorney J. Donald Sutherland who died in 1997. Dorothy was predeceased by her daughter Marcia S. Pensinger. She is survived by her grandson William O. DeHart Jr. of San Mateo, CA and great grandson Brendan. Dorothy also leaves the Hahn family of Stoughton. Funeral services will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Thursday February 16th at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment services will take place at Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston.
