Obituary

BRENDA'S MEMORIAL MASS HAS NOW BEEN SCHEDULED TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 8, 2020 AT 4 P.M. IN ST. FRANCIS DE SALES CHURCH, 313 BUNKER HILL ST. CHARLESTOWN. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.

Brenda M. (Morey) Page, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was 80 years of age.

Brenda was born in Boston on March 26, 1940, a daughter of the late Joseph Morey and Sarah (Murphy) Morey. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1958. Brenda worked as a lunch monitor for 35 years at the Warren Prescott School in Charlestown. She had a strong faith and was passionately involved in St. Mary's Church in Charlestown years ago. She enjoyed walking and achieving her 10,000 steps a day using her Fitbit. Above all else she cherished her family.

Brenda is the beloved wife of retired Boston Fire Department Lieutenant Arthur E. Page, they were married for 58 years but in love for 66 years. She is the devoted mother of Brenda Whalen and her husband Tommy, Chris Page and his wife Mary, and Lisa Day and her husband Todd. She is the loving Narna to Kerryn and her husband Chris, Leisa, Christopher, Thomas, Caitlin, Nicholas, Charlie, and John. She is the beloved sister of Karen Smith and her husband Dr. James Smith, and the late Sally Corcoran, Patricia Maguire, and John Morey. She is also survived by her many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, kindly make a memorial donation in Brenda's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105

GIVEN THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS AND THE CITY OF BOSTON PUBLIC GATHERING MANDATES FOR THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, BRENDA'S FUNERAL SERVICE AND BURIAL AT WOODLAWN CEMETERY IN EVERETT WILL BE PRIVATE.

A Memorial Mass and celebration of Brenda's life will be announced at a later date.
