Melissa Pendleton, born October 26, 1956, peacefully made her transition to eternal rest at home on April 5, 2020.
Melissa worked as a nurse’s aide, writer, proofreader and editor for local author and as a medical transcriptionist. Melissa died after a long illness with Multiple Myeloma and amyloidosis. She leaves behind her beloved husband Jerry of 44 years, two children, Alex Pendleton and his wife Liisa of Yarmouth, Rachael Fredericks and her husband Kenneth of New Jersey and three granddaughters; Olivia, Evelyn and Jennaveeve Pendleton. She also leaves behind Mother Evelyn Scigulinsky, brother Frank Scigulinsky and sister Modwyn Oleksak all of Westfield, Massachusetts.
Melissa loved cats and dogs, baking, gardening and music. In healthier years she enjoyed swimming, bicycling, nature walks and motorcycling with her husband.
