Diane M. (Heise) Tchorz, 78, of Fairhaven passed away Friday April 3, 2020 at Alden Court Nursing Home. She was the wife of Leonard F. Tchorz.
Born in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late Chester and Marguerite (Stock) Heise, she resided in Fairhaven most of her life.
Diane was a preschool teacher at Precious Memories Day Care in Fairhaven for many years until her retirement.
She was a devoted mother who enjoyed knitting, cooking, camping, and the outdoors.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Stephen "Skip" Tchorz and his wife Rebecca of Selmer, TN, John Tchorz and his wife Kimberly of Carlsbad, CA, Tom Tchorz and his wife Pamela of New Bedford and David Tchorz and his partner Kati Alley of Oak Bluffs; three daughters, Shelley Molnar and her husband Michael of Warren, NJ, Susan Tchorz and Sandra King, both of Fairhaven; a brother, David Heise of Baltimore; two sisters, Cynthia Budrecki of New Freedom, PA and Constance Moran of Baltimore; ten grandchildren, Haylie, Brett, Kayla, Jared, Kristen, Andrew, Matthew, Greg, Stephen, and Tara; four great-grandchildren, Katherine, Bonnie, Spencer, and Aleksandr; and several nieces and nephews.
