MARY ANN RORABAUGH OBITUARY
Mary Ann (Benardini) Rorabaugh, 90, of Clymer, PA, formerly of Cookport, PA, died on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Bethany Place Residential Care in Indiana, PA.
The daughter of James and Anna (Caputo) Benardini, she was born on June 9, 1929 in Idamar, Indiana Co., PA.
Mary Ann married Paul Leslie Rorabaugh on April 10, 1948 and they shared over fifty-four years of marriage together until his death on November 8, 2002.
She was of the Roman Catholic Faith.
While living in California, Mary Ann enjoyed working as a cook for a local hospital. Two of her favorite pastimes were crocheting and doing needlepoint. She loved dogs and she was particularly fond of her dogs: Geno I, II & III. Especially this time of year, she enjoyed seeing and being near lilac bushes.
Mary Ann is survived by her three children: Paula Wheeler and husband, Clyde of Clymer, PA; Nancy Whitney and special friend, Ron Williams of Palm Desert, CA; Frank Rorabaugh and wife, Pamela of Chino, CA; her thirteen grandchildren; her ten great grandchildren; her 1 great great grandchild and her two sisters: Kay Oterson of Indiana, PA and Rose Drake of CA.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Paul; her son: Richard Rorabaugh; her two brothers: Ben and James Benardini and her grandchild: James Robert Teagle.
In accordance with the coronavirus guidelines, private services officiated by Father Thomas A. Federline will be held for Mary Ann’s immediate family at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA. Interment at the Church of The Resurrection (Sacred Heart) Cemetery in Dixonville, PA.
