On Monday, April 6, 2020 loving wife and mother, Cathy Chere passed away peacefully at home at age 61.
Cathy was born on July 27, 1958 in Providence, RI. On August 12, 1978 she was married to her best friend Ronald Chere. They raised twin sons Nathan and Nicholas in Smithfield, RI.
Cathy would like you to know that her work here is done. She received an offer that she was unable to refuse, for an appointment she will not be returning from. This appointment reunites her with family and friends that she hasn't seen in a long time. Her job includes partying, laughing with the best of them and keeping an eye on her loved ones down here. She wants you to celebrate her and smile as she always did.
Cathy was preceded in death by her father Edward Harris, her mother Jeanne Harris (Wincq) and her son Nicholas Chere. She is survived by her husband Ronald Chere, her son Nathan Chere, daughter in law Tammy Chere (Anderson), her sister Cynthia Antonelli, sister Kimberly O'Reilly, grandson Nathan Chere Jr., grandson Jonathan Chere and many nephews and nieces.
There will be no services as of now, as Cathy wanted everyone to remember her as you did. A "Celebration of Life Cookout" will be held at a future date.
