Margarita Martinez, 62, of Worcester, died Monday, April 6th in UMass Hospital in Marlborough. She is survived by three brothers, Hector Colon of St. Petersburg, FL, Raphael Martinez and his wife, Carmine and Jose Rodriguez and his wife, Carmine all of Worcester: four sisters, Angela Rodriguez and her husband, Jorge Martell of Worcester, Carmine Martinez and her husband, Harris Rivera of Worcester, Violeta Rodriguez and her husband, Daniel Arroyo of Gardner and Yvette Rodriguez and her husband, Richard Hernandez and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Margarita was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Antonio Sotomayer and Angelica Martinez.
Her funeral will be held from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a graveside service on Thursday, April 9th at 1:00 p.m. at Notre Dame Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 11:00 until 12:45 on Thursday at the funeral home. During this time, in order to comply with the mandated 10 person limit in a confined area, we ask that while visiting the family you follow the directions of the staff, who will be monitoring the flow into and out of the funeral.
