Stephen V. Honan, Age 74, suddenly March 31, 2020 Steve was a devoted husband, father and brother. Steve was born in Winthrop, went through the Winthrop School system and brought his family up here. He loved being so close to the ocean, whether it was swimming on the beaches of Winthrop or sailing out of the Cottage Park Yacht Club. You might have thought he was born with salt water in his veins. Steve loved discussing politics, whether it was corruption in Congress or who should be the next President of the United States. He will be missed by his big smile and and his booming laughter. We all share in the grief along with gratitude that we had the chance to have had Steve in our lives.
He leaves his wife, Helen(Pixie), his sons Matthew and Kevin. He will also be missed by his sisters, Kenny and Kathleen, his brothers John(Tony), William and Richard. He was predeceased by his younger brother, Patric. He and his Grandson, Jasper Ezekiel shared a special relationship. In addition, he particularly enjoyed being "Uncle Steve/Stevie" to his many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral and Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
