Charles W. Coll , 74, of Salem, NH died Saturday at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA after a long illness. He had lived in Salem for 39 years.
He was born in Hazelton, PA, the son of the late James and Margaret (Gaffney) Coll. Charles served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean War from 1949 – 1953. He was employed as a Field Engineer at IBM in Boston, MA until his retirement in 1995.
He served the Town of Salem as a Selectman. He was also a former member of the Budget Committee, School Board and Conservation Committee.
He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters.

A Funeral Service will be Saturday at 10:30 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St. Salem, NH. Cremation will follow.
Calling hours will be Friday from 5-9 PM at the funeral home.
