Dennis K. “Bubba” Murray, 58, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, April 5, 2020, at his residence.
A public memorial service will be held at a later date.
Bubba was born August 26, 1961, in Bibb County, Georgia to Claudine Young & James Tilton Murray. He graduated high school in Birmingham, Alabama. Bubba loved to work on cars and he loved to fish. Music was his passion and he enjoyed listening to old country and western music and 50s rock and roll. He was of the Church of Christ faith.
He is survived by his mother, Claudine Thompson Smith & Wayne of Fitzgerald; siblings: Belynda & R.C. Jones of Charlotte, North Carolina, Gerald Tilton Murray of Yokoshsuki, Japan, Curt Smith of St. Petersburg, Florida and Jennifer Garrity of Birmingham, Alabama; nieces and nephews: Lakisha Thomas of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Landon & Brooke Thomas of Matthews, North Carolina, Maegan & Baylor Brown of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Hunter Garrity of Birmingham, Alabama, George Murray of Yokoshsuki, Japan, and Lisa Murray of Newport, West Virginia.
