Joseph M. Aguiar, age 71, passed away on Friday April 3, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Sao Miguel Acores he was the son of the late John and Gloria (Cordeiro) Aguiar and was the husband of Vidalia (Viveiros) Aguiar. He was a US Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War and a Purple Heart recipient. He enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, going to the shooting range and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife he is also survived by his children: Joseph Aguiar Jr., Christine Aguiar-Lavoie, Daniel Aguiar and Neil Aguiar, siblings Mary-Jill Aguiar, John Aguiar, Richard Aguiar and David Aguiar, grandchildren: Amanda, Christopher, Samantha, Cassidy, Savannah, Austin, Daimes, and Danielle, great grandchildren: Sasha, Jaydah, Austin Jr., Aayden, and Cole as well as several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home.
